PPL take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge!

Kate Wilson -

Earlier this month, the PPL Innovate team laced up their walking boots and took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, raising an incredible £1,600+ for Alzheimer's Society – a charity that is close to many of our hearts.

Over the course of almost 24 miles, the team climbed Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m), completing the challenge in just 12 hours. Set within the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, the route tested both our physical and mental resilience, but the spectacular scenery made every step worthwhile.

It wasn't just our team taking part either – we were fortunate to have a fantastic group of family and friends join us throughout the day, offering encouragement, company and plenty of much-needed morale support.

The challenge was tough, but everyone showed incredible determination, teamwork and positivity from start to finish. Most importantly, we're proud to have raised vital funds for Alzheimer's Society, helping to support people affected by dementia and fund life-changing research.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported us along the way and helped make the day such a success. Together, we've made a real difference.
